The Moore Family Trust Foundation, under the leadership of our Chairman, Randal G. Moore, has long held a profound commitment to the families who call the remote villages of the Himalayan Mountains home. Guided by the belief that opportunity, education, and access to essential healthcare should never be limited by geography, the Foundation is honored to support initiatives that strengthen these resilient communities.

Our ongoing commitment provides funding for four early childhood preschool programs and three primary education programs serving students from the first through sixth grades, ensuring that children receive a strong educational foundation during their most formative years.

Beyond education, the Foundation supports two fully staffed medical centers that deliver comprehensive healthcare services to residents who would otherwise face significant barriers to medical treatment. These centers provide both routine and urgent care while promoting long-term community health.

Recognizing that education and healthcare are inseparable from proper nourishment, the Foundation also invests in nutrition and wellness initiatives that promote healthy childhood development, preventative care, and improved quality of life for families throughout the region.

The Moore Family Trust Foundation is  committed to transformational funding, which allows exceptional care for children at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford, where more than 40 percent of patients rely on public insurance. At the same time, our hospital offers cutting-edge therapies for children and families from around the country who need highly specialized care. 

But world-class, family-centered care is about so much more than addressing immediate medical needs. It’s also about giving every child and family the personalized care, social support, and services they need to reach their full health potential. For some kids, music-assisted therapy and Packard Paws facility dogs support healing and spark moments of joy. For families, connections to essential resources—lodging, meals, and even diapers—allow them to focus on being there for their sick child. Our goal is to ensure nothing gets in the way of healing.
