Effective October 1, 2026, the Moore Family Trust Foundation will continue its longstanding commitment to expanding access to education, advancing academic opportunity, and supporting both structured and nontraditional pathways to learning.
The Foundation’s educational philanthropy includes institutional endowments, scholarships, international education initiatives, endowed professorships and academic chairs, and other programs designed to strengthen learning, leadership, and long-term educational opportunity.
As part of the Foundation’s broader policy of institutional discretion, commitments to educational institutions exceeding $1 million in a single distribution will generally not be publicly announced or otherwise acknowledged without prior authorization from the Moore Family Trust Foundation.
An exception to this policy is recognized for Friends of Norfleet (FON), for which programmatic and philanthropic reporting may continue in a manner consistent with its established mission, operating structure, and reporting practices.
The Foundation will also continue to permit certain colleges, universities, and educational institutions with established pathways to medical research, clinical advancement, health sciences, or related initiatives to disclose transformational gifts in their institutional reporting. Any such acknowledgment must receive advance authorization from the Moore Family Trust Foundation.
These guidelines are intended to preserve appropriate discretion while allowing the Foundation to remain fully engaged in educational advancement, academic leadership, and initiatives capable of creating enduring institutional and societal impact
