An extraordinary evening at The Frick, celebrating the magnificent renovation and renewal of one of New York’s most treasured cultural institutions.
The Moore Family Trust Foundation is honored to have provided funding in support of this remarkable transformation—preserving the enduring character of The Frick while ensuring that its extraordinary collections, architecture, and legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.
A magnificent renewal of a timeless institution, and a privilege to have played a part in its future.

The collection originated with Henry Clay Frick (1849–1919), who bequeathed his home, paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts to the public for their enjoyment. The institution’s holdings—which encompass masterworks from the Renaissance to the late nineteenth century—have grown over the decades, more than doubling in size since the opening of the museum in 1935. A critical component of the institution is the Frick Art Research Library, founded in 1920 by Helen Clay Frick, daughter of the museum’s founder. Recognized as one of the world’s top art history research centers, it has served students, scholars, and members of the public free of charge for generations

From 2021–25, The Frick Collection undertook a comprehensive renovation and enhancement project. Honoring the Frick’s architectural legacy, the plan designed by Selldorf Architects provides unprecedented access to the 1914 residence.

The Frick Collection is a world-renowned art museum housed in a magnificent Gilded Age mansion on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Its distinguished collection spans the Renaissance through the late nineteenth century, bringing together exceptional European paintings, sculpture, furniture, and decorative arts. Among its celebrated holdings are masterpieces by Vermeer, Rembrandt, Fragonard, and other defining figures of European art

The dramatic glow of soft candlelight along Chestnut Street in historic Beacon Hill provided an elegant setting for the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston’s Young Patrons Circle Benefactor Cocktail and Dinner, graciously hosted in a magnificent private residence.
